Each currently-registered runner will be contacted in the near future (generally via email) and offered the above choices.Įveryone on the BMW Race Committee hopes that COVID-19 will be under control by next spring so that we may continue the Trail Race Series in 2021. However, once the Race Committee considered these things against the potential threat to the health of our volunteers and participants, the choice became clear.įor those runners who registered for the Trail Race Series before we suspended registration, we will offer either a full refund of your registration fee and/or merchandise price OR the option to convert your registration and/or merchandise into a donation to Blue Mountain Wildlife. This decision was not an easy one, as the Trail Race Series is the main fundraiser for Blue Mountain Wildlife, our primary showcase of the Kernsville Dam Recreation Area, and a much-anticipated series of outdoor events for many runners from Berks County and beyond. Due to the CoVID-19 outbreak, THE 2020 TRAIL RACE SERIES HAS BEEN CANCELLED.Īfter much consideration the Blue Mountain Wildlife Race Committee has decided to cancel the 2020 BMW Trail Race Series.
